Description
An extraordinary 18th century cabinet with triple breakfront glazed windows above a lower range of stepped doors, surmounted by an ogee molded architrave with three triangle pediments, all in richly grained mahogany. Original hand floated wavy glass throughout. Exceptional quality craftsmanship, in the manner of, and possibly by, Gillows. Of monumental scale, and with an architectural presence, this is a piece to design a room around. Interior shelving would make a handsome home for a collection of fine porcelain or other objects.
