This elegant Italian bedside table dates to the early 19th century and reflects the clean, architectural lines of the Directoire period. Expertly crafted from solid walnut, the piece is distinguished by refined marquetry inlay in contrasting fruitwoods, which frame the drawer and door with a delicate checkerboard motif. The top drawer and lower cabinet are fitted with their original round brass knobs, adding a touch of classical restraint.
