An exquisite 18th century Louis XV commode from the Veneto region, crafted in richly figured palissandre (rosewood) with fine marquetry inlays. This elegant two-drawer chest features a subtly curved apron and gently cabriole legs, characteristic of Venetian interpretations of French design during the Louis XV period.

The front and top are inlaid with refined lightwood stringing, creating a clean, symmetrical frame that enhances the warmth and movement of the rosewood grain. Diamond-shaped escutcheons in contrasting wood add a refined focal point, while the original round bronze pulls complete the elegant composition.

This piece reflects both the fluid elegance of the Rococo aesthetic and the restrained sophistication of Northern Italian craftsmanship. A statement of refined taste and timeless luxury, this commode is ideal for a foyer, bedroom, or dressing room.
