Description
Milanese Italian architect Antonio Cassi Ramelli (1905-1980) created a number of notable public and private buildings in his long career. His limited furniture designs emphasized texture and visual gradient. This late 1930s bar cabinet is constructed in faceted diamond pattered carved walnut. The singular drop-down door front has a full panel of etched glass with a central farmer figure. Interior in mirror with floral, leaf and butterfly etched decor including a diamond pattern overall. Beautiful detail to the tall tapered legs. Exceptional Italian Art Deco cabinet.
