Description
This Art Deco bar console reflects the transition toward a more restrained, post-war interpretation of the style. The gently curved silhouette and balanced composition retain the elegance of earlier Deco, while the reduced ornamentation and emphasis on form point toward a more modern sensibility. The central mirrored doors, featuring a subtle diamond pattern, are framed by rounded side compartments with stylized decorative panels.
Crafted in wood with integrated glass and metal elements, the piece demonstrates the Italian approach to late Art Deco, where craftsmanship and material richness remain central, yet are expressed with greater clarity and control. Originally conceived as a bar cabinet, it combines functionality with a sculptural presence. -
