Description
This cabinet represents a typical French workmanship of the 1940s, conceived in the spirit of late Art Deco as it gradually transitioned toward modernism. Its architectural composition is defined by balanced proportions, softly rounded corners, and restrained geometric relief carving across the façade and base. The symmetrical front is centered by a framed panel fitted with circular metal pulls, introducing a refined decorative accent without excess. Raised on solid block feet with horizontal fluting, the piece conveys both stability and sculptural presence. The interior is fitted with shelving, offering practical storage while maintaining the disciplined elegance characteristic of decorative arts of the period.
