Description
Neoclassical Biedermeier Vitrine or Display cabinet from South Germany around 1830.
Walnut veneered and solid. Glazed on three sides with old glass windows. Ebonized full columns. Brass key escutcheon and iron lock. Rear wall mirror.
Interior shelves in stained oak (bottom) and softwood (tops). Intermediate shelves supported on cambered ebonized columns.
Restored condition, hand polished with shellac.
