Italian wooden chest of drawers with a slightly curved front, decorated with an oil painting. What makes this piece truly unique is that the polychromy wasn't applied directly to the furniture, but rather is a custom-made oil painting on canvas, ensuring the continuity of the scene across all sides of the piece.

The painting depicts a bucolic landscape with a flowing river, rocks, lush vegetation, animals, and various figures, evoking scenes of classical inspiration from the 18th and 19th centuries. The composition stands out for its depth and dynamism, achieved through the use of a palette dominated by earth tones and greens. The original dark handles are integrated into the scene without disrupting the pictorial continuity. The chest of drawers rests on four stylized legs that elevate the piece.
