Description
EARLY 19TH CENTURY EMPIRE BUFFET A DEUX CORPS
Walnut buffet in two parts with panelled doors. The upper section with a plinth running along the top and the two doors flanked by an ebonised demi column in relief. The bottom section with two sets of demi columns in relief flanking the doors.
The whole raised on four feet, the two front ones stepped and the back ones flat. The doors open to reveal three shelves on top and one underneath. Original leather escutcheons. Country house condition.
France, early 19th century.
