A charming pair of English circa 1900 mahogany bedside tables with subtle marquetry details in contrasting satinwood. Each petite case is made of three drawers that easily open by oval ring-pull hardware in a historic rosette design. Thin, inlaid strips of a contrasting ebonized finish create a border on the top surface enhancing the natural beauty of the luminous satinwood wood grain around the outside. A single strip of satinwood over the top drawer creates a moment of visual interest that is both subtle and refined. To contrast the rectilinear proportions of the case, a swelled apron expresses personality through to the short, splayed feet. Cleaned and polished with a French paste wax, ready for your interior.
