    A European Rococo period painted wood two part vitrine secretary from the late 18th century, with carved volutes, glass doors and slanted-front desk. Created in Europe during the last decade of the 18th century, this stunning tall painted secretary features two large carved volutes with pierced décor, sitting above two doors with paneled glass and arched motifs. These doors open to reveal adjustable inner shelves while the mid section showcases a slanted front desk. Multiple drawers and compartments surround a central door, the writing area in the front being fitted with green leather. The lower section presents two small drawers followed by three larger graduating ones. Raised on ogee bracket feet, the secretaire is painted in a soft color. With its graceful lines and exquisite décor, this Rococo painted wood tall vitrine secrétaire circa 1790 will bring a touch of undeniable elegance to any living room, study or foyer.
