Description
A French Louis XV style walnut console table from the 19th century, with three drawers, carved apron and cabriole legs. Created in France during the 19th century, this walnut console table features a rectangular top with central board, sitting above an elegantly carved apron comprising of three drawers (a small one flanked by two larger ones). They are all fitted with brass hardware. The apron is raised on four cabriole legs typical of the Louis XV era. The feet are delicately carved in their extremities. The back is unfinished, the table will therefore benefit from being placed against a wall. The apron height is 20"H. With its elegant lines, walnut finish and small proportions, this French Louis XV style console table from the 19th century will make for a lovely addition to any home, perhaps placed in a living room, foyer or a child's room where it could also be used as a small desk!
