Description
Dimensions: 32 ¾” H x 47 ¾” W x 21” D
A Louis XVI style commode from France circa 1820 in bold, ebonized finish that could suit a wide range of decorating tastes today. Turreted corners with fluted carvings flank the stack of three drawers, using brass bail pulls to easily slide open which glow in contrast to the smooth satin texture. Keyhole escutcheons are intact however no key is present. Bulbous turned wood feet elevate the case from the floor. Cleaned, tightened, and polished with a French paste wax this antique commode is ready for your interior, whether as storage for clothing, linens or other household items it w.
