Description
A fantastic fruitwood Buffet A Deux Corps from France, crafted during the 1850s. A sharp cornice surmounts a pair of paneled doors with brass escutcheons and a functioning lock. The tops’ interior houses four removable shelves that measure 12-½” deep and 7” deep. The bottom mirrors the top in style, also with a functioning lock. A single removable shelf that measures 21-⅛” deep is within the bottom storage. Carved columns flank and bisects each door and give it a nice touch of handcrafted detail. Raised on block feet. The hardwood has gained a nice patina. 2 keys are included. Make sure to view the detailed images to get a closer look.
