French Louis XV Style 19th Century Wooden Bedside Table with Open Shelf

$ 2,950
  • Description
    A French Louis XV style 19th century wooden bedside table with three-quarter gallery, open shelf and cabriole legs. This French Louis XV style 'table de chevet' features a rectangular top surrounded by a three-quarter gallery, sitting above an open shelf offering a convenient storage area. The scalloping present on the gallery is perfectly echoed on the upper section of the shelf as well as the apron, thus creating a visual unity. The table is raised on four elegant cabriole legs, reminding us of the taste for curvy lines of the Louis XV period. The décor is kept at the minimum, allowing the wood grain to stand out beautifully. With its nice proportions and elegant lines, this 19th century French bedside table will bring a graceful touch to any home, particularly in a bedroom or in a living room, used as a side table.
