This refined French Louis XVI-style chest of drawers, dating to circa 1920, is a beautifully proportioned piece that pays homage to the neoclassical elegance of the late 18th century. Crafted in richly grained walnut, the façade features three full-length drawers separated by crosspieces, with the top drawer designed to simulate three individual compartments. Each drawer is fitted with original circular brass ring pulls and finely cast bronze escutcheons, offering both visual interest and functional ease.

The fluted uprights and turned, tapering legs, also fluted, are classic Louis XVI elements, with each leg finished in a brass sabot that adds a subtle note of sophistication. The solid walnut top provides a seamless surface, highlighting the natural beauty of the wood. Though the original keys are missing, all locks remain intact. This piece brings both warmth and formality, making it ideal for use in bedrooms, entryways, or living areas where timeless French design and practical storage are equally appreciated.
