Description
Featuring a newly installed Belgian bluestone top, this piece was originally crafted as a shop or work counter. It retains its authentic nineteenth-century character while offering a practical and durable surface for modern use.
The painted case displays clean architectural lines and generous storage (one small drawer over two central cupboard doors flanked by two sets of three short drawers), making it well suited as a kitchen island, serving counter, or retail display. The substantial Belgian bluestone top provides a striking contrast to the painted finish, combining timeless elegance with exceptional durability.
A versatile and functional antique, this handsome French counter seamlessly blends historic craftsmanship with contemporary utility, making it an ideal centerpiece for both traditional and modern interiors. -
