French Provincial Two-Piece Oak Cabinet, C 1880

$ 3,250
  • Description
    The upper section features a central arched cabinet door flanked by a pair of paneled doors, all enclosed within molded frames and surmounted by a shaped cornice.

    The lower section is fitted with a pair of large paneled doors centered by bold circular reserves, opening to an interior fitted with pull-out shelves for storage. Raised on graceful cabriole legs, the cabinet displays finely molded details and a warm, richly patinated oak surface.

    The harmonious proportions, distinctive circular panel decoration, and practical two-piece construction make this an attractive and versatile example of late nineteenth-century French country furniture, suitable for a variety of interiors.
