George Nakashima, Mid-Century Modern, Rare Double Chest of Drawers, Sap Walnut, c. 1958
Double chest of drawers designed by George Nakashima for Nakashima Studios circa 1958. This example is sold with an order card dated 8/30/58 from the Nakashima Foundation. The work features an exposed dovetail case, two banks of “face drawers” with inlet pulls, and a recessed cross form base. A matching single chest of drawers with inlet pulls (last photo) is available separately.
