Description
Ico Parisi for MIM Shelf and integrated desk, Italy - 1960s. Total number of four drawers made of metal and beautiful rosewood. The position of the shelves is adjustable. Ico Parisi (1916-1996) was an Italian designer, in the 1950s and 1960s he gained recognition for his innovative furniture, characterised by its clean lines, geometric shapes, and use of various materials such as wood, metal, and fabric. His designs were often influenced by modernist and abstract art movements. Parisi's furniture pieces were highly sought after and are considered iconic examples of Mid-Century Italian design. Parisi's designs and artworks were exhibited internationally, and he collaborated with several prominent architects and designers of his time. His work played a significant role in shaping the aesthetic of post-war Italian design and continues to inspire contemporary designers.
