T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings for John Widdicomb Brass-Mounted Walnut and Cane Chest, Nightstand or Dresser
Highly sought after American mid-century modern walnut three-drawer chest of drawers by T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings. This example having rattan-wrapped dowel drawer pulls and four tapered brass legs with circular brass feet. Opening the first drawer will reveal an original heavily faded 'Widdicomb' label while a 'Sotheby's' label is in tact on the back side of the piece. This example maintains original hardware and wood pieces from the mid-century time period.
