Mid-century Danish Kai Kristiansen Teak Entry Chest or Nightstand

Sold Sold
  • Description
Finely handcrafted in Denmark in 1960, this elegant small chest is designed by Kai Kristiansen and built from richly grained old-growth teak. It features a subtly bowed front with five drawers, each adorned with half-circle carved pulls and pattern-matched drawer fronts that showcase the natural beauty of the teak. The interior drawers are made of birch, offering a light contrast to the darker teak exterior. Fully restored with a hand-rubbed natural oil finish, this piece is in beautiful condition, with only minor signs of age-appropriate wear. Iideal as a bedside table, entry cabinet, or accent piece.
