Description
Large Early Baroque Alpine Architecturally Inlaid Coffer/Chest, the front featuring two arched panels inlaid with town scenes, the paneled top also inlaid and adorned with decorative iron work and with a large decorative iron lock mounted inside. The simply paneled sides have large iron handles. Wonderful, rich, warm color and patina. Five small interior drawers now missing.
Our pieces are left in lived-in condition, pending our custom conservation and polish to preference. -
