Louis XV Style, Tulipwood, Marquetry, Marble, Narrow and Tall Chests of Drawers, France, 1910s
An ultra-sleek and slender pair of elegant Louis XV–style six-drawer inlaid chests, each meticulously refinished to restore them to their original splendor. Every drawer features a boxed green inlay design set within multiple flowing veneers, culminating in a beige, red, and burgundy marble top. The bronze mounts have been carefully cleaned and polished. The last drawer of one cabinet is missing a bronze adornment around the keyhole (as pictured).
