An extraordinary and rare rosewood tambour cabinet designed by Ole Wanscher and produced by master cabinetmaker A.J. Iversen. The focal point is the impeccably executed tambour doors that disappear into the sides of the cabinet when opened, revealing a flexible interior with adjustable shelving. ca 1950s Denmark.

Ole Wanscher's work for A.J. Iversen represents the pinnacle of Danish cabinetry. Because these pieces were often made-to-order or produced in very small batches, they are highly sought after for their superior joinery and "quiet" luxury.
