One-of-a-kind Pair of Aubergine Plum Glass with Murano Spheres Cabinets with Brass Legs handmade in Italy, 2023. Wooden frame is veneered or clad in reverse-painted art glass panels in a rich aubergine or plum color. Hand-casted, solid Murano clear glass spheres adorn the front glass doors and sides of each piece and reflect light, creating a jeweled, three-dimensional effect. These cabinets are versatile and can be used as sideboards, nightstands, or dry bars. The two doors to each piece have a push-to-open mechanism and a single wooden interior shelf that can be repositioned up or down depending on needs. The tapered legs are in solid-turned brass. This unique pair of cabinets was entirely handmade in Italy specifically for Karina Gentinetta. This is a one of a kind custom item. This cabinet is on display at the Gallery at 200 Lex at the New York Design Center.
