Description
Depth: 21" // This pair of early 19th-century red lacquer cabinets is an extraordinary find. When placed beside each other, what remains of the finely-painted decoration comes together to form a single scene of a tree branching out over a pond with swimming ducks and birds in flight. The interiors are untouched, lined with paper depicting auspicious Buddhist symbols. The red lacquer finish has remained incredibly vibrant, complemented by the original dark brass hardware.
