Paul Frankl for Johnson Furniture Co. and retailed by John Stuart. Branded Johnson Furniture Co. and labeled John Stuart to drawer interior. Stamped with manufacturer's numbers to reverse of each piece. This is certainly a rare and important piece of mid century modern art indicative of one who wants the very best in his or her mid century modern collection.
The Station Wagon Group designed by Paul Frankl. This stunning original, fine condition bedroom set is the first complete set to come to the market in decades. Constructed of Philippine mahogany and rock maple with the original hand stitched leather handles attached with solid brass hardware. The set comprising an eight drawer dresser with match mirror, a pair of matching nightstands, one high chest, one bench, a full bed having the original rails and cross splats. This set complete with several extra original drawer pulls and magazine advertising the sets arrival to the market.
