Description
A beautifully crafted Danish Modern vanity dresser designed by Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen — an exceptional example of mid-century cabinetmaking at its finest. The case is constructed entirely from solid teak, showcasing rich grain, deep natural warmth, and the unmistakable quality that defines the work of this celebrated design duo.
The cabinet features exquisite exposed finger-joint joinery at each corner — a hallmark of thoughtful craftsmanship and structural integrity. The signature sculpted “smile” drawer pulls introduce a soft, organic rhythm across the front, while the clean architectural lines keep the overall profile refined and elegant.
The top section opens to reveal a built-in vanity compartment, complete with petite storage drawers and a concealed mirror — a clever and graceful blend of utility and beauty. The interior compartments are impeccably fitted, reflecting precision workmanship and a deep respect for material and proportion.
This piece embodies everything we love about Danish cabinetmaking: restraint, intelligence, and quiet sophistication — designed to be lived with, appreciated, and admired for generations.
A rare opportunity to own an iconic work from two of Denmark’s most influential designers.
