    Danish Modern bookcase hutch designed by Peter Hvidt for Søborg Møbelfabrik, Denmark, circa 1952–56. Finely crafted of solid teak, the open bookcase features exposed joinery along the edges and an asymmetrical arrangement of adjustable shelves and compartments. Designed as part of Hvidt’s modular storage system, the bookcase can be used independently or stacked atop coordinating Hvidt cabinets and bookcases from the series. Professionally restored in a natural oil finish to highlight the rich teak tones and wood grain. Excellent condition with minor signs of age-appropriate use.
