Regency Form Revolving Six Section Library Etagere with Faux Books

$ 6,500
  • Description
    A striking and highly decorative Regency-form revolving library étagère, early to mid-20th century. Crafted in mahogany, this impressive six-tiered bookcase tapers elegantly from a substantial drum base to a carved urn finial at the crown. Each tier is lined with leather-embossed faux book spines, creating the look of a fully stocked gentleman’s library. Iron ring handles and carved lion’s paw feet complete the classical Regency detailing, along with applied brass lion mask medallions on the drum base. The piece revolves smoothly, allowing 360-degree access — a hallmark feature of the great English library furniture tradition. A dramatic statement piece equally at home in a traditional library, study, or as a collector’s centerpiece.
