Description
This small Italian chest of drawers combines refined proportions with timeless elegance, making it a versatile accent piece. Dating from the late 18th to early 19th century, the chest features two drawers adorned with gilt-bronze escutcheons and original locks, highlighting the craftsmanship of its period. The façade displays a warm, rich patina, with beautifully figured walnut veneer panels framed by clean linear moldings. Fluted side details add subtle depth, while the tapered legs provide balance and grace, giving the piece a light yet grounded presence. The interior of the drawers, lined in a vibrant red fabric, offers a striking contrast that elevates its charm. Compact in size, it is perfect for use as a nightstand or side chest, effortlessly blending function and style.
