"È Aldo Bartolomeo, allora ventenne, a dar vita nel 1956 alla Stildomus, nella duplice veste di progettista e imprenditore. La sua curiosità lo porta a conoscere "belle persone", da cui nascono gli incontri di amicizia e di lavoro con Ico Parisi, Bruno Munari, G.P.A. Monti, Pino Tovaglia, Afra e Tobia Scarpa, Giorgio De Ferrari.
È la "qualità" ad essere la filosofia di Stildomus, che realizza nel "ricercare" i progettisti di collaudata esperienza come Parisi, Munari, Monti, Tovaglia, Scarpa, De Ferrari, senza rinunciare a sperimentare le proposte dei giovani come Cappelli e Ranzo, Veronesi, Donegani, Iosa Ghini e Kusters.
"Ricercare" i bisogni, attraverso la lettura dei cambiamenti sociali, da cui nasce il primo progetto di parete attrezzata (1968) e la prima ricerca sulle superfici dei mobili di Pino Tovaglia (1970). "Ricercare" i materiali, scegliendo quelli capaci di invecchiare bene.
"Ricercare" le tecnologie, utilizzando quelle più idonee alla realizzazione del progetto. "Ricercare" un alto grado di finitura, attraverso un aggiornato ed efficiente utilizzo degli strumenti produttivi, ma soprattutto la sensibilizzazione e l'addestramento degli uomini, dal cui determanante apporto scaturisce la "qualità"." -
