Description
An early 19th century Empire serpent paint and gilt decorated mirrored back pier or console table. The white marble top supported by a single drawer with bronze pulls flanked by bronze decorative corners. The whole having a pair full bodied serpents with gilt heads and gilt tails in a dark paint decorated colored body. The console resting on carved painted and gilt claw feet with a mirrored back panel.
