    Italian, Possibly Parma.

    The veined gray marble top is inset into a raised square edging above a frieze decorated on three sides with foliate carved and gilt swag and pendant pattern. The four legs each with square section upper part decorated with turned gilded roundels from which hang foliate pendants. The lower half of the legs of reverse fluted tapering form terminating in a pointed toe. Some applied giltwood carved sections replaced in stucco.
