Description
A small console table with drawers in ash wood, Italian manufacture, 1950s
This exquisite console table, crafted in ash wood, is a fine example of Italian manufacture from the 1950s. Its small dimensions and perfect proportions make it an elegant and versatile piece. Beneath the top, two drawers open, each featuring a refined solid brass handle. The table is adorned with a delicate inlaid motif, highlighting the meticulous craftsmanship that places this piece among the finest of Italian mid-century design, where aesthetic innovation and artisanal skill converge.
The console stands on slender legs, which are capped with brass tips and connected at the base by a second rounded shelf, adding both functionality and charm. Materials of exceptional quality, including brass and inlaid wood, contribute to its timeless appeal. The attention to detail makes this piece ideal for an entryway, perhaps paired with a mirror, or as a stylish writing surface in a bedroom.
The console has undergone a thorough restoration, bringing out the natural beauty of its light ash wood and enhancing the decorative grain.
