Description
A rare and versatile pair of “Laker” coffee tables designed by Afra & Tobia Scarpa, distinguished by their bold architectural form and refined material contrast. Each piece features a green lacquered structure framed by warm wood edging, creating a graphic interplay between color and natural tones.
The sculptural U-shaped supports give the tables a strong geometric presence while allowing them to function individually or together as a dynamic modular composition. When paired, they create layered surfaces and varied heights, ideal for flexible living spaces and contemporary interiors.
An iconic example of Italian modernist design, the Laker series reflects the Scarpas’ mastery in combining functionality, craftsmanship, and clean structural language. Perfect as centerpieces in a living room, they bring a sophisticated and collectible mid-century character.
