Set of four Africa dining chairs with a rare matching extension table, designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Maxalto in 1976. The chairs are made of walnut with sculptural backrests and curved saddle seats. Upholstered in a mix of black and cognac leather, they combine strong form with comfort. The matching table features a square top and central pedestal base, with two pull-out extensions that double its length. Crafted from the same walnut, it echoes the chairs' refined materiality. The size of the Table is 220cm when extended, folded the size is 110cm the Height is 71,5cm. and the depth 110cm A rare and cohesive dining set that reflects Scarpa’s blend of modernist clarity and traditional craftsmanship. Vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age.
