Early production Model 88 side table in birch by Alvar Aalto from the 1930s. Imported by Finmar UK. Produced by Huonekalu-ja Rakennustyötehdas Oy Turku, Finland. Originally bought by Bristol architect Ralph Brentnall in the 1930s from prominent Bristol-based furniture manufacturer and retailer, PE Gane. Both Finmar and PE Gane labels are still present. Some historic repairs visible. Provenance; family collection.
