-
Description
Elegant and Timeless French Art Deco Writing Table / Desk in Teak Wood circa 1925. This rare and original piece has an exquisite sense of line, form and volume that creates a dramatic, yet subtle presence. The design and construction of this work is exceptional, the piece rests on a double plinth base. From each base 2 dramatic, poetic fluted legs arise and support lyre form side walls. A rectangular top rests upon these side walls. All work is in teak and done by hand and made in a small workshop. The piece is functional and practical as a writing table / desk or center table but exudes a magical presence via its original form and lines.
