Exceptional “Eros” console table designed by Angelo Mangiarotti in the 1970s, executed in Black Marquina marble.

The Eros series is celebrated for its innovative structural concept, where the top and legs interlock through precisely cut circular joints without the use of adhesives or fasteners. The elliptical top features distinctive round cut-outs at each end, into which the conical legs slot seamlessly. This ingenious construction relies on the weight and gravity of the marble itself, embodying Mangiarotti’s architectural philosophy of “form through structure.”
