Description
Fine 18th Century George III Chippendale mahogany pie crust tilt-top tripod pedestal side or center table with fluted pedestal, unusual carved acanthus leaf cabriole legs ending in ball and claw feet.
The original idea of a tilt-top table, whether used for tea or another occasion, was the convenience of placing it against the wall when not in use. -
