Seismic Coffee Table
-
Description
This limited edition table bridges design, art and technology and has been launched in brown antique granite, a stone selected because of the strong visual impact of its highly crystalline structure.
The multi-faceted Seismic table was inspired by the contrasting interior and exterior of a geode. The visual impact of the table is accentuated by a thick chamfered glass top and the base features a highly polished stone interior enhanced by an exterior featuring a proprietary stone drawing technique.
While appearing to be a monolithic solid object, the table is in fact hollow. A design innovation achieved by using cutting edge marble CNC fabrication processes and honeycomb lamination techniques developed by the super yacht industry. -

Message from Seller:
Founder of his eponymous London, Los Angeles and New York City based global architectural interiors practice, Alexander Purcell was first driven to launch the Atelier Purcell furniture and lighting collection to grant new life to the bespoke designs he had created for his projects. “The ability to refine and iterate design ideas more rapidly brings a playfulness to creating furniture - the constraints of architectural construction don’t apply,” he says.
