Description
Axel Vervoordt, Belgium 1980, coffee table in solid oak and bamboo. Conceived and produced by the great Belgian decorator & art dealer in the 1980s. Rolls of bamboo were ordered in China to top these custom-designed coffee tables. Through this rather early career piece you can see his eye for Japan and the Wabi-Sabi lifestyle. Made as a trend piece at the time, it now slowly becomes a sought-after important historical piece. Would fit in a rustic modern zen-inspired decor.
