Description
Oval, early Biedermeier / Empire Saloon or Center Table from Vienna, Austria around 1820.
Cherry veneered and solid wood. Intermediate tableau with upward tapering partly ebonized and painted decor.
Four carved eagle heads on the sides, re-gilded with gold leaf and partially ebonized.
Top center with ebonized (black polished) plate. Restored and shellac hand polished.
