Description
Oval, early Biedermeier / Empire Saloon or Center Table from Vienna, Austria around 1810-20.
Cherry veneered and solid wood. Intermediate tableau with upward tapering partly ebonized and painted decor.
Four carved eagle heads on the sides, re-gilded with gold leaf and partially ebonized. Top center with ebonized (black polished) plate. Restored and shellac hand polished.
