Description
Rectangular Biedermeier dining table from France, circa 1820, extendable on both sides.
* Beautiful solid cherry wood, hand-polished with shellac.
* Conical, square tapered legs in solid cherry wood with ebony ring.
* Expandable on both sides, allowing the table to be extended from 195.5 cm to 301 cm.
* Two side extension leaves slide under the main top and are supported by long, solid oak planks.
* The extension leaves (each approx. 79.5 cm long) are made of a cherry wood frame with chestnut wood in the center.
* Restored condition.
