This is a classic example of a late 19th century/early 20th century fold-down Butler's Tray on a folding stand. The vintage mahogany tray is in overall very good original condition with hints of anticipated patina. The folding stand is of high quality with finely turned supports and is ready for another generation or two of use. The original purpose of these folding trays was for tea service, this type of butler's tray now makes a perfect spot for an informal chic bar or informal dressing table.
