An Elegant and Iconic Italian Mid-Century Modern "Spider" Side Table or Coffee Table by Carlo Di Carli, (2 are available). The entire work is sensuous, casting the majesty of the spider into a pure, modernist sculpture. It's transparent glass top allows one to view the mystery and beauty of the fascinating hardwood base / structure. The spider appendages supporting the round glass top are composed of 10 arms, each hand carved with slight individual differences between the supporting arms. They are notched to grasp the glass. The top structure rests on 3 sleek, tapered legs. The spider table by Carlo Di Carli is an ingenious work of art. 2 tables are available; with slight differences between them. however they can be used as a complimentary pair; they are Priced and Sold Individually here.
