Pair of extraordinary consoles designed by Carlo Enrico Rava, made in 1940 in Milan. Commissioned for one Milanese family, that collected Japanese art.
Gold gilt on ivory lacquered gesso with a brass pedament on top, each with an antique Japanese print behind glass.
