Wonderful pair of two-tier side tables with thick Lucite shelves and chic polished nickel detail. Designed in the 1960s by Charles Hollis Jones as part of his Metric collection. Signed Charles Hollis Jones.
Charles Hollis Jones (born 1945) is an American artist and furniture designer. He is best known for his use of acrylic and Lucite. Founding his company CHD at the age of 16 his work soon become well received and international acclaimed. Frank Sinatra, Lucille Ball and Johnny Carson were among some of the first to commission Jones to design pieces for their homes. -
